Live band, caller walks through every dance — no partner or experience needed. Grange Hall, riverside room.
Beginners welcomeBring an instrument or just your ears. Open circle, tunes traded round-robin style.
Open jamDance starts at 7:30; bring a dish to share beforehand at 6:30. Family-friendly, all ages.
PotluckSit-down shows
Fiddle, banjo, and upright bass — original tunes and old standards. Doors 6:30, seating is general admission.
Tickets at the doorAn intimate listening-room set of traditional ballads and songs, hosted in partnership with a visiting singer.

Grand River Folk Arts Society formed around a simple idea: traditional dance and music belong to everyone, not just people who already know the steps. Our callers teach every figure from the stage, our bands play for dancers first, and our floor has room for first-timers and forty-year regulars alike.
We run monthly contra dances, seasonal old-time jams, and the occasional concert — all within walking distance of the river the society is named for.
